My mother has been diagnosed with bone cancer and she needs a power of attorney. My son that is very responsible and owns his own business and is fixing mamas house we have all agreeded for him to be it . What steps do we need to do to fix this? My auntconnie which is my mothers sister has access to mamas account and my granny died in January and Connie is married to a retired lawer that does wills and his firm in Atlanta did granny's will some kind of way and there is tension between the money getting to my mother Sandra Asbell. So as you can see we choose not to have her as power of attorney.
