I also received a Cashier's Check from this bank, remitter lewis Alpin and Signed by Rebecca Cole-Preston. This is supposedly for a "Prospective Shopping Agent" to review and evaluate procedures at Wal-Mart with the purchase of a Moneypak Card. THE NO. OF THE CHECK IS 386423 AND AT THE BOTTOM 386423 083900619 30 1003 1

It's a shame you can't see the responses to the questions above. I, too, received a check today signed by Rebecca Cole-Preston and the remitted is Christopher Emory. I will get to the bottom of this.

People please use your head!!! If something smells then it is rotten. These checks are so obviously a scam. They get you to deposit the check , send back some alleged overpayment ( or graphic artist fee), the check bounces, your bank charges you for a bounced check and you're out whatever money you sent to these morons. Who is really going to send you a check for almost $2k upfront? Try googling the return address. Feel the check and realize that is just on regular copy paper. Notice how the mailing label is just plain paper, photocopied, and glued to the envelope .I have had dozens of these checks mailed to me and never cashed one. I hope they spend lots of money on mailing charges.
